How to Buy LEGO Wheels Separately

Whether you've lost the wheels that came with a particular LEGO set or simply want to add more wheels to your collection, there's no reason to buy a set that comes with pieces you don't need.

History

  In the past, LEGO wheels were only available to the public in sets. Wheel only sets were available to educators only. Kids who wanted extra wheels for projects had the option of buying an entire kit just to use the wheels. Now, LEGO sells wheels separately to the general public.
Function
- LEGO wheels attach to the body of other LEGO creations to make them mobile. They can make cars, buses, trucks and anything else that requires wheels. Other non-LEGO crafts, like cakes and hand-built racers, can also incorporate Lego wheels.
Types
- LEGO offers a set of 360 wheels. The set includes two types of wheels with axles. Wheels come in three separate colors: white, gray and black.
