How do I Create Lego Trophies?

A trophy is a traditional symbol of victory, and if you've won something in a LEGO-related competition, a trophy made out of the plastic construction bricks would be perfect. Fortunately, if you want to create one of these trophies, it just takes a little building work. There are a few different styles you can build with some simple directions.

Things You'll Need

  • LEGO pieces in yellow, white, blue and red

Instructions

    • 1

Build a trophy base out of white bricks. Place a rectangle of bricks that is 14 studs by eight.

    • 2

Build a second layer on top of the base. Make sure the gaps on the lower level are covered by bricks on the upper level, so that when you pick up the base, the entire piece stays together.

    • 3

Build a red tower. Start by placing two two-by-two-stud bricks together, and then a one-by-two stud brick on both sides so they cover the gap. On the next layer, place two-by-two stud bricks over the one-by-two stud bricks. Place two more one-by-two stud bricks on the sides. Repeat this process to build eight more layers.

    • 4

Make a blue tower. Use the same steps as for the red tower.

    • 5

Place these towers on either side of the two-by-two area on the center of the base.

    • 6

Build another base-level, making it six studs by 12. Make a second layer, covering the gaps on the lower level.

    • 7

Start building the cup. Place a yellow circle-shaped layer on the center of this base. Make a shape that's six studs by six studs, but rounded.

    • 8

Place a smaller circular layer on top of this layer. Make this circle like those on the towers.

    • 9

Place two two-by-two yellow bricks on top of each other, on top of the base, to form a stem for the trophy.

    • 10

Attach this base to the tops of the towers.

    • 11

      Build another small circle separately.

    • 12

Build another rounded row on top of the small circle, which is one stud wider on all sides. Extend two sides of this circle to form the base of the handles. Use four one-by-six stud bricks for the handles.

    • 13

Build another, larger level onto the cup. Repeat this process, making a hollow cup on top of this base.

    • 14

Build the handles up, using one-by-two stud bricks. Attach them at the top to the cup. Place two-by-two bricks on the top corners of the handle to form wings on these handles.

    • 15

Attach this cup to the stem.
