Arms and Legs
Build the arms for the creature. Place two, three-stud long rods in both ends of a gray elbow joint. Line one of the rods up horizontally, and place a connector with a rod attached on the lower rod. Find an orange elbow joint and place them pointing upward. Repeat to make the other arm.
Slide a connector with a vertical rod onto Onewa's hammer, then attach it to the orange elbow joint. Repeat with Whenua's drill into the other arm. Attach two faces to each arm on the vertical connector rods; one faces the shoulder, and one points away from the elbow.
Build the legs by connecting two L-bars together with a pair of pins. Center a three-stud rod through a connector with a vertical rod, and attach that to the bottom of the lower L-bar. Repeat to make the other leg.
Attach a green end-cap to a three-stud rod, then place a green connector with vertical rod onto that. Slip a black double-connector to the end of that, then attach this to the legs, so it's attached to the lower rod and meets the upper L bar. Repeat with the other leg.
Attach a black connector rod to the lower rod, then slide a brown face so it lines up like a foot. Slide a black face onto the rear rod. Attach a double-pin to the upper green rod.
Torso
Insert a black pin and a gray pin into the elbow of an L-bar. Repeat, mirrored with another L bar. Insert a three-stud bar into an orange endcap, and slide another rod through the top. For a complete image of this section, consult Resources.
Attach the L-brackets so that the pins face outward, and the orange endcap is between them, pointing down.
Insert a black pin just under the top of the another L-bar. Center a three-stud bar into a gray connector with a short rod. Place a five-stud rod into a black double-connector joint.
Attach these four pieces so that the five-stud connector fits through the top, and the gray connector rod hangs loosely below it.
Attach the two pieces together with some more L-bars. The orange piece should be at the top, and the other piece toward the bottom. Use the pins to hold them together.
Center a short, gray rod-connector onto a five-stud rod, and slide thick washers onto either side of it. These become the neck of the Turaga Nui. Attach these to two more L-bars, and place them over the top of the torso, attaching them with pins and bars. Loop two elastic bands around pins at either end of the section, so the torso can bend and flex. If these steps are confusing, consult the images in Resources.
Place a red head at the top and bottom of the torso. One is the codpiece, the other is the Turaga Nui's head.
Attach a black face to the front and center of the torso.
Assembly
Attach the legs to the bottom of the torso with double-pins.
Insert the arms into the shoulders of the model, using the rods inserted in the beginning.
Arrange the masks on the various faces around the model. You can arrange them however you see fit, depending on the power your Turaga Nui is using at the time.
