Lay all of your parts out on the table and sort them by size, type and color.
Push the tires onto the wheels.
Slide the wheels onto the pins of the wheel holder plates. Attach two wheels to each wheel holder.
Press one wheel holder into place at the bottom of each end of the car base plate. Each should be one Lego stud’s width from the end.
Press the 2x2 dark gray plate into one end of the depression in the base plate.
Press the 1x2 brick into place on the far end of the 2x2 dark gray plate.
Press the 1x2 plate into place on top of the 1x2 brick.
Press the steering wheel into place directly behind the 1x2 brick
Press one of the 1x4 plates into place on the top of the side of the car base plate where it flares out. Do the same on the other side of the car base plate with the other 1x4 plate.
Press one of the 2x3 bricks into place directly in front of the 1x2 brick.
Press the second 2x3 brick into place at the other end of the car, one stud’s width from the end.
Turn the bracket so that the curved portion is facing away from you. Press one clear stud into place at each upper corner of the bracket. Press the grill-shaped tile into place between the clear studs.
Press the dark gray 1x4 tile into place across the bottom front studs. You should now have an assembly resembling the front end of a car, including grill, bumper and headlights.
Press the bracket into place directly in front of the first 2x3 brick. The curve should face the wheels.
Press the 2x4 plate into place so that it is on top of the 2x3 brick and 1x2 plate.
Press the curved wedge into place so that it curves down toward the front of the car. It should resemble the hood of a car.
Press one of the panels into place along the side of the car. Look at the panel from behind. It should look like a capital L.
Press the other panel into place along the opposite side of the car. From behind, this panel should look like a backwards L.
Press one 1x1 red translucent plate into place at each upper corner of the second bracket. Press a 1x2 tile into place between the red plates.
Press the dark gray 1x4 tile into place across the bottom front studs. You should now have an assembly resembling the back end of a car including brake lights and rear bumper.
Press the bracket assembly into place at the back of the car base plate.
Press the 4x4 plate into place on top of the 2x3 brick and the bracket assembly. The corners of the 4x4 plate should line up with the red translucent plates.
Press the windshield into place on top of the two studs between the steering wheel and the hood of the car. Put your mini-figure into a seated pose and press him into the space behind the wheel.
