How to Make Cool LEGO Weapons

Lego building blocks seem just as popular as they were when they were introduced in 1949. The type of blocks that Lego offers is always evolving. So many different pieces are offered that, with a little time and ingenuity, it seems anything can be constructed with them. Using only seven different Lego pieces, anyone can create a very cool-looking assault rifle or sword.

Things You'll Need

  • 1 small black piece that resembles a megaphone
  • 2 small black cylinders
  • 1 flat black two-pronged rectangle
  • 1 flat blue one-pronged circle
  • 1 flat clear one-pronged circle
  • 1 small black triangular cylinder
  • 2 thin long green cylinders
  • 1 binocular-shaped piece
  • 1 flat one-pronged square with C-shaped arm extension
  • 2 blue Lego man arms
  • 1 short metal rod

Instructions

  1. How to Make a Lego Assault Rifle

    • 1

Locate the small black piece that resembles a megaphone and attach the flat two-pronged black rectangle to the back of it. Attach it so that if the megaphone piece is sitting horizontally, the black rectangle rests vertically, attached at the bottom prong.

    • 2

Attach one of the black cylinders to the free prong of the flat black rectangle from step 1. Again, if the megaphone piece is resting horizontally, the cylinder is directly above it, and they are both connected at their backs to the flat black rectangle.

    • 3

Snap the flat blue circle to the top of the black cylinder from step 2.

    • 4

Attach the black triangular cylinder to the top prong of the flat black rectangle you attached in step 1. The point of the triangular cylinder should be facing out.

    • 5

Attach the final black cylinder to the bottom prong of the same flat black rectangle you used in step 4. Attach the clear flat circle to the top of this black cylinder. Have the Lego man grip the assault rifle you just created by the handle of the megaphone piece.

How to Make a Lego Sword

    • 6

Locate the flat one-pronged square piece and snap the binocular-shaped Lego to the top of it.

    • 7

Attach the middle of the metal rod to the C-shaped arm that extends from the flat one-pronged square piece in step 1.

    • 8

Attach one of the thin long green cylinder pieces into each of the holes atop the binocular-shaped piece. These will act as the two blades of the sword.

    • 9

Snap the hand of one of the Lego man's arms to the right side of the metal rod. Make sure the arm you use for the right side of the sword allows the blue arm's elbow to be pointing out away from the sword.

    • 10

Attach the final Lego man's hand to the left side of the metal rod, once again making sure the correct piece is used so the Lego man's elbow is pointed out.
