Things You'll Need
Instructions
Stick one of the yellow plastic rods through the top holes of three of the orange connectors. Align the design so the three orange connectors are positioned together at the back of the yellow rod.
Insert the yellow plastic piece from Step 1 through the top one of three of the silver pieces. The design should now be one yellow rod with three orange pieces followed by three silver pieces.
Insert the same yellow rod you have been working with through the center circle of the red rectangle. After that, place one green mini rod on each end of the red rectangle.
Connect three silver connectors, this time by their unenclosed ends, into the yellow plastic piece. The silver pieces should be connected the opposite way the previous silver pieces were connected in Step 2. After that, place the one remaining orange connector on the tip of the yellow piece.
Connect a second and third yellow rod to the design. Mount a yellow rod onto all of the orange pieces through the right and left connectors. The second and third yellow rods should run on the bottom of the previous one.
Snap a silver piece to the end of the original yellow rod that you started with. Run the rubber band through the hole of this silver piece. Pull back on each side of the rubber band and connect it to the back of each of the two bottom yellow pieces.
Load the rubber band gun by first pulling back on the silver connector that the rubber band was run through. Pull it back so the yellow rod clears the red rectangle. Tilt the red rectangle to its side just enough so it blocks the yellow rod from coming forward. Place one of the mini green rods, which will act as the toy bullets, in the front circle of the device.
Shoot the rubber band gun by aiming at your target and tilting the red rectangle back to its original position so the yellow rod fires forward, propelling the mini green piece out of the rubber band gun.
