How to Build a LEGO Batman Bat-Tank

LEGO has provided hours of entertainment for children over the course of several decades. With all of the special pieces that are involved, however, Batman's Bat-Tank can be extremely frustrating to try to build, especially if you are inexperienced at building with LEGO in the first place. But with your LEGO Bat-Tank kit, the instructions, and some friendly guidance, you can be fighting crime with the caped crusader in no time.

Things You'll Need

  • LEGO set 7787 (Bat-Tank, the Riddler and Bane playset)

Instructions

    • 1

Place your LEGO pieces on a clean surface with plenty of room. It is important to keep your space organized to find the pieces quickly.

    • 2

Replace your instructions. If you've lost your instructions, or they were not included in the set, see Resources for a link to a PDF file with the illustrated assembly instructions.

    • 3

Turn to page 22 of your instructions. This will guide you through the initial step of building the center portion of the Bat Tank. Start with the open square piece with six holes in its sides (three per side).

    • 4

Turn to page 33 of your instructions. This will guide you through the secondary step of constructing the left side of the Bat Tank's tank tracks. You will begin with a yellow oval brick with five holes in its side and insert wheel axles into the left two and right two holes, leaving the center hole open.

    • 5

Turn to page 50 to attach the left tank track to the Bat Tank. The three wheel axles of the main body will attach to the yellow brick with holes in the side from the tank track.

    • 6

Turn to page 51 of your instruction manual. This will begin the final process of building your Bat-Tank: constructing its right tank tracks. Similarly to what you did in Step 4, you will begin with a yellow oval brick with five holes in its side and insert wheel axles into the left two and right two holes, leaving the center hole open.

    • 7

Turn to page 69 of your instructions. Attach the right tank track to the Bat-Tank. As in Step 5, the three wheel axles of the main body will attach to the yellow brick with holes in the side from the tank track.
