Things You'll Need
Instructions
Purchase the Lego City Fire Truck kit. If you can't find it in a local toy store then you can purchase it at the Lego website, a link to which you can find in the Resources section.
Quickly look through the instruction booklet that comes with the kit to briefly familiarize yourself with how your Lego Fire Engine will be assembled.
Sort the parts that come with the kit into piles of red, white, black and miscellaneous colored pieces.
Sort each colored pile into two separate piles--small and large pieces.
Assemble the little firefighter that comes with the kit by attaching his body, legs, head and protective hat together.
Begin assembly of your fire engine by following the instructions that came with the kit. If you misplace your instructions, you can find assembly instructions for the kit on the Lego website. The instructions will have you begin with the underside of the fire engine, including the wheel wells, and work your way up. The first portion of the instructions will show you how to assemble the main body of the truck.
Begin assembly on the back portion of the truck where the ladder will be located, once again following the instructions provided with the kit. Attach this part to the back of your fire engine once assembled.
Assemble the storage trailer and life raft, following the instructions provided.
Attach the storage trailer so that it will be pulled behind the fire engine.
Add the sticker decals to the fire engine, little firemen and storage trailer.
