Things You'll Need
Instructions
Choose the Magformers set you want. Magformers come in sets of 14 pieces or 30 pieces.
Select the colors you want for the Magformers. Magformers come in sets of purple and red or purple and green. For more fun, get sets of each so you can mix and match the different colors and shapes.
Lay shapes out flat, connect the magnets, then lift. This is an easy way to build three-dimensional shapes.
Give Magformers play sets to children. Magformers are extremely durable and can take a lot of punishment. Even kids who are notoriously hard on toys will have a hard time breaking Magformers.
Use Magformers as a means to encourage curiosity and to teach kids about science. Children are fascinated by magnets, so this is a good way to spark a conversation about magnetism, metallurgy and other related topics.
Bring Magformers to the classroom. Teachers often use magnetic toys like this one in the classroom, because they are quiet, easy to clean up and intellectually stimulating.
Try building a sphere. Building straight-line objects like squares and cubes is easier, but a sphere is one of nature's basic shapes (think bubbles) and is a fun challenge to undertake with Magformers.
Don't wait until the last minute to order Magformers. If you're ordering sets online for a birthday or holiday present, remember to take into account shipping time, so that your gift arrives in time for the party.
Look for Magformers before you vacuum your floors. They can blend into carpet easily, and you'll save a lot of wear and tear on the vacuum if you do a quick carpet inspection before you start vacuuming.
