Tekno Dinosaur Instructions

Toy Quest makes many different robotic toys shaped like various animals, such as dogs, cats and dinosaurs. Toy Quest also makes a "Tekno" line of toys, in which the robots are made to look like they are metallic cyborgs instead of real animals. There are two Tekno dinosaurs, the stegosaurus and the T-rex. These robots move on their own and use an infrared sensor to get out of the way of objects. No assembly beyond insertion of the batteries is required.

  Locate the battery cover on the underside of the dinosaur. Open the panel by pressing on the latch and pulling. Insert the batteries into the slots and close the cover.

  Locate the power switch, near the battery cover. Move the switch to the "On" position. Place the dinosaur on the ground so it can walk around.
- 3
  Allow the dinosaur to walk forward on its own. Wave your hand in front of its face to make it walk backward. When the dinosaur encounters objects, it will turn to the left or right. When it walks into a corner, the dinosaur will walk backward.
