Free-Roam Mode
The Roboraptor enters Free-Roam mode if it remains inactive for more than 3 minutes or you press "Shift" and "Demo/Roam." In this mode, the Roboraptor automatically explores the environment. The robot uses its infrared and aural sensors to navigate the room and seek out loud noises. If you press any button on the remote or trigger one of its touch sensors, the Roboraptor exits Free-Roam mode. After 5 to 10 minutes of auto exploring, the Roboraptor shut downs to save power.
Guard Mode
Press “Shift” and the “Bite/Guard” button to put the Roboraptor in Guard mode. During this mode, the Roboraptor uses its sensors to guard the area immediately around it. If it detects any motion or sounds, the robot lets out a roar. The robot shuts down after 30 minutes in Guard mode if it receives no other commands.
Hunting Mood
Out of the box, the Roboraptor&'s default is Hunting mood. To switch Roboraptor to Hunting mood, press “Shift” and “Head Clockwise/Hunting Mood.” This mode makes the Roboraptor more aggressive to motion or touch. For example, touching its tail causes the Roboraptor to turn around and try to bite.
Playful Mood
Press “Shift” and “Tail Right/Playful Mood” to switch Roboraptor to Playful mood. This mood makes the Roboraptor more friendly and open to interaction. For example, touching the Roboraptor’s mouth will cause it to play with you rather than try to bite you.
Cautious Mood
Activate the Cautious mood by pressing “Shift” and “Tail Left/Cautious Mood.” This mood makes the Roboraptor more cautious to the sounds and motions around it. For example, making noises causes the Roboraptor to look in that direction, but not actively seek it out.
