How to Make a Homemade Drink Mix for a Baby Alive Doll

Hasbro manufactures the Baby Alive doll, which eats, drinks and wets. Many kids love to feed the baby doll drinks from her bottle. Even though the Baby Alive doll comes with a drink mix, it can quickly run out. For many people, replacing the drink mix can become expensive. However, there are ways to make a homemade drink mix for the Baby Alive doll.

Things You'll Need

Baby Alive bottle
Cup (8 oz. or larger)
Spoon
2 tbsp. sorbitol or baking soda
2 drops of washable liquid food coloring
2 tbsp. water

Instructions

  Find an empty cup or container to mix the ingredients needed for the Baby Alive doll's homemade drink mix. Make sure the cup or container can hold up to 8 oz. of liquid.

  Add 2 tbsp. of sorbitol or baking soda.

  Add 1 or 2 drops of liquid food coloring. The food coloring should be washable to prevent staining of skin and fabrics. Select a color that resembles the drink flavor you want to give the Baby Alive doll. For example, use orange or purple food coloring for orange juice or grape juice.

  Add 2 tbsp. of water to attain the desirable consistency. The water should be in liquid form and there should be enough water to dissolve the sorbitol or baking soda.

  Stir the ingredients. Make sure the desired color and consistency is attained. Add up to 2 additional tbsp. of water, if needed.

  Pour the mixed ingredients into the bottle. Make sure the lid of the bottle is securely tightened. Shake well and let the doll drink.
