Lay the four parts of the Glitterizer out on a table; you will have the base, main chamber, top and glitter tray. Put the main chamber on top of the base and click into place. Make sure there is no gap between the base and chamber compartment because the Glitterizer will not work if there is. Click the top onto the the main chamber. Afterward, insert the glitter tray into the base of the Glitterizer in the empty space provided.
Put the Glitterizer down on its back so the door is facing the ceiling. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to unscrew the battery compartment on the bottom. Place four AA batteries into the Glitterizer, screw on the battery cover and stand it back up. Open the glitter tray and pour glitter inside to about halfway full. Press the tray in so that it clicks.
Dress Barbie in an outfit that you would like decorated with glitter. Use the small stickers that were included with the playset and place them on her outfit in the spots where you would like glitter to stick.
Place Barbie inside the Glitterizer. There will be a U-shaped holder that fits snugly around Barbie's waist. Shut the door firmly and turn the latch. The Glitterizer will not work if the latch is not turned counterclockwise as far as it will go.
Press the button on the bottom of the Glitterizer for about 20 seconds until the stickered outfit is awash in glitter. Unlatch the chamber, take your doll out and brush the excess glitter off of the outfit. The Barbie doll is now ready for playtime.
