Instructions
Short Curls
Wrap yarn loosely around a pencil or marker. Do not wrap the yarn tight. When you reach the end of the pencil or marker, leave a long tail of yarn; the tail should be longer than the object around which the yarn is wrapped.
Pull the tail through the yarn loops around the pencil or marker.
Push the looped yarn off the pencil or marker. Use the tail that was weaved back through the yarn to sew the hair to the doll's head, keeping the curls gathered.
Cascading Curls
Place two knitting needles together.
Wrap the yarn around the pair of needles. The tighter the tarn is wrapped, the tighter the curls will be.
Preheat the oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
Spray the yarn curls with water. The yarn should be damp, not soaking wet. Place the needles on a baking sheet.
Bake the needles for 10 minutes or until dry. The heat will help set the curls.
Slide the yarn curls off the knitting needles and sew or glue them to the doll's head.
