How to Remove Face Paint From Barbie Dolls

A Barbie doll can come in many varieties. While Barbie dolls generally retain the same basic shape, facial features and ethnicities can vary. As part of every Barbie doll's features, you will find face paint creates her eyes and mouth. The eyes tend to have very dramatic paint to make the doll look like it is wearing a lot of eye makeup. The lips tend to be either bright pink or red. With the right methods, this face paint can be removed from a Barbie doll.

Things You'll Need

• Cotton swabs
• Acetone
• Baking soda
• Water

     Add acetone to a cotton swab. Have an extra bunch of cotton swabs ready.

     Wipe the cotton swab over the Barbie doll's face paint. Scrub the paint with the cotton swab to remove.

   • 3

     Get a new cotton swab and dip it in acetone once the first swab becomes covered in paint. Continue scrubbing until all of the paint has been removed.

     Sprinkle baking soda on the Barbie doll's face and wash with warm water. This neutralizes the acetone.
