Instructions
Living Room Rug
Braid three lengths of embroidery floss together. Use the entire 6-strand piece, do not unwind it into individual strands. Knot the ends of the braid.
Spread glue on a 3-by-4 inch rectangle of felt.
Glue the first inch of the braided floss down the center of the length of the rectangle.
Wind the braided floss in a spiral around the first inch, covering the first knot and tucking the last knot under the edge.
Trim off the excess felt.
Bedroom Reading Lamp
Glue a button to the flat end of a golf tee. Stand the tee up on the button.
Slip a pony bead onto the point of the tee.
Glue the center of an upside-down paper mini muffin cup to the pony bead.
Glue a tiny decorative bead on the top for a finial.
Pies
Line a bottle cap with a circle of beige felt to make the bottom crust. Trace around the bottle cap, then cut out the felt. Glue the crust in place.
Fill the crust with a fruit filling made of tiny beads. Cover the beads with a thin layer of craft glue to hold them in place. Use glue which will be clear when dry.
Top the filling with a tuft of white cotton whipped cream, a lattice crust made from tiny strips of beige felt or a felt top crust with a vent hole cut in the center. Glue the toppings in place.
Bathroom Accessories
Cut 3-by-5 inch bath towels and 1-by-2 inch hand towels from the edge of old towels. Sew on thin ribbon trim to decorate the edge of the towels.
Cut a matching 2-by-3 inch oval bath mat from the center of the towel.
Cut a 1/2-inch, round sponge from a kitchen sponge.
Use a Pez candy for soap and a duck button for a bath toy.
