All you need are the appropriate crafting tools with which to do so.

Instructions

    • 1

Choose a porcelain slip that is the color you want your porcelain doll to be. Numerous flesh-toned porcelain slips are available. For best results, select a slip color that emulates the time period in which your doll is set.

    • 2

Choose a doll mold that is the size that you want your porcelain doll to be then fill the doll mold with the porcelain slip. Larger doll molds might require more than one tub of porcelain slip to fill.

    • 3

Fire the porcelain doll mold in a kiln at 2200-degrees Fahrenheit for between six and eight hours. After the doll is fired, remove it from the kiln and allow it to cool completely before proceeding.

    • 4

Use a piece of fine sandpaper to sand any rough edges from your doll. Proceed to paint your doll, using apricot or ebony paint for the body and face and rose colors for feature enhancements of the lips and cheekbones.

    • 5

Select a pair of glass eyes in the color that you wish. Make sure that the eyes will fit snugly in the eye sockets of your doll then pop the glass eyes into the sockets. Apply superglue to the false eyelashes and carefully glue the eyelashes above your doll's eye sockets, being careful not to drip the glue on your doll's glass eyes.

    • 6

Apply superglue to the inside of the doll wig and position it onto your doll's head. Once you have wig in the position you like, hold down the wig for approximately 30 seconds to a minute so that the glue begins to set.

    • 7

Adorn your porcelain doll in its clothing and accessories.
