How to Make a Wooden Doll Stand Using Velcro

If you have an extensive wooden doll collection that is taking up a large amount of space, it can be difficult finding a way to display them in your home. Velcro adheres to an item to help it stay in place, and can be used to make your wooden dolls stand on their own. Having your wooden dolls stand on their own will give you a new view on your collection and make your dolls look organized on display.

    • 1

Find the location where you wish to place the wooden doll. Use the measuring tape to find the center of the location and use the pencil to mark it.

    • 2

Measure the length of each foot on the doll with the measuring tape. Then cut two pieces of Velcro using the measurements of each foot.

    • 3

Peel the paper from one side of one piece of the Velcro to reveal the adhesive. Adhere the Velcro to the foot of the wooden doll. Repeat with the other foot.

    • 4

Peel the paper from the other side of the two pieces of Velcro that are already on the wooden doll's feet. Firmly place the feet of the doll on the centered markings to adhere the opposite side to the intended location.

    • 5

Pull the wooden doll away. The pieces of Velcro should separate and you will now be able to stand your wooden doll by using the Velcro.
