Paper House Pattern
Print out the house detailed in the References section. You can print it on simple copy paper or, for a more sturdy house, card stock.
Cut out the pattern with a pair of scissors. Cut out any doors or windows with a sharp knife.
Fold the house pattern along the fold lines.
Place double sided tape or glue on the tabs and fold them, pressing them to the insides of the house. put your fingers or a pen through the door or windows to help press the tabs tightly.
Color or paint your house as you desire.
Simple Paper House
Cut four walls out of construction paper.
Trace a door and several windows on the walls.
Cut out the windows and door. Cut only the top and one side of the door so that you can fold it open. You can do the same with the windows if you want to have shutters.
Tape the four walls together.
Cut one piece of paper for a flat roof. It should be the same size, or a bit larger, than the house. Tape it to the top of the house.
Furnishings
Cut circles out of paper for plates. You can use any color you like, or mix and match for a colorful table.
Cut squares out of paper and glue them to the floor of the house. If you use decorative paper in a large oval or square, if will look like a rug. If you do small squares, lay them out like tile in the dollhouse kitchen or bathroom.
Print out the paper furniture patterns on a sturdy card stock paper. Cut them out and fold them along the lines. Color them to match your doll house.
