My Sibling/My Pal
Launched by LorettaRose in 2007, the My Sibling and My Pal dolls are assembled and manufactured by teens and adults with developmental disabilities. The dolls are 18 inches tall and come in a variety of hair, skin and eye colors. The company offers several boy models, including a tennis player, soldier and an environmentally conscious doll. Each doll comes with a coordinating accessory and a small informational booklet. The My Sibling and My Pal dolls are sold for $50 each.
iPlay Learn-to-Dress Jake
Like his female counterpart, Emma, Learn-to-Dress Jake is a 15-inch plush doll that teaches children how to tie, buckle, button and zip clothing. His clothing is removable and he comes with a cap and skateboard. Learn-to-Dress Jake can be purchased from International Playthings for $26.99.
CJ
This 18-inch posable doll from the Best Friends Club, Ink. collection has lifelike hair and removable clothing. CJ comes with a fashionable outfit, backpack, journal and BFC, Ink. membership card. This doll retails for about $30 and can be purchased at both Walmart and Target.
