How to Make a Mini Doll Wig

Instructions

  1. Create the Wig

    • 1

Poke a small hole in the bottom of the sandwich bag with your finger and pull the doll's head through the hole like a barber's cape.

    • 2

Gently pull the viscose hair off the weft and stack them so that the ends are all even.

    • 3

Fold the strands in half over you index finger. Spread the strands evenly along your index finger so there are no gaps between the hairs.

    • 4

Place the fabric glue in the fine tipped syringe. Draw a line with the glue along the center of the strands.

    • 5

Place a straight pin along the glue line and flip the hair over the pin. Pinch the hair on either side of the pin to set the glue. Gentle and quickly slide the pin out from under the hair.

    Attach the Wig

    • 6

Draw a line with the glue on the doll head starting from the front hair line ending at the crown of the head. Line the glue line on the doll hair up with the glue line on the doll head and attach the hair to the head.

    • 7

Lift both sides of the hair up and apply glue to the rest of the doll head from hairline to nape. Press the hair against the glue to seal.

    • 8

Blend the hair at the front and back of the head so no scalp is showing and style as desired.
