Things You'll Need
Instructions
Measure the circumference of your doll's neck, shoulders, arms, and waist. Write the measurements down in one corner of the paper.
Lay a regular T-shirt out flat to use as a template for the baby doll top.
Divide the measurements you took in half and then add 1/4 of the original measurement. Example: A 10-inch collar dived in half equals 5-inches. Then add 1/4 of the 10 inches, which is 2.5 inches. 5-inches plus 2.5 = 7.5 inches. Draw a copy of the regular T-shirt onto the paper using the divided measurements; the collar being half plus 1/4 the neck circumference, the sleeves being half plus 1/4 of the arm circumference, and the width of the top being half plus 1/4 the shoulder measurement.
Trace two copies of the T-shirt pattern onto the back side of the stretch jersey material. Cut the pattern pieces from the fabric.
Place the two T-shirt cut-outs together wrong side out and pin together. Sew the two pieces together leaving the collar, sleeve holes, and bottom open.
Turn the T-shirt right side out and place it on your baby doll.
