How to Make a Doll Carrier

Small children, particularly little girls, like to play "mommy" with dolls. For those little girls that want to carry their baby dolls in a baby carrier, there are few options in stores. Luckily, making a doll carrier for them is not only easy, but it requires no sewing, and only one piece of fabric.

Things You'll Need

  • 2 1/2 yards of a long, rectangular piece of knit fabric
  • Fabric scissors
  • Child

Instructions

    • 1

Cut the fabric so that it is about 14 inches in width.

    • 2

Place the fabric around the child's neck, as if it were a long scarf.

    • 3

Cross the two ends of the fabric so that they make an "X" on your child's chest.

    • 4

Wrap the fabric around the child's back.

    • 5

Tuck the remaining fabric into the straps that have now been created by the fabric.

    • 6

Put the doll into the folds of fabric, on your child's chest.
