Instructions
Open all body part plastic bags to ensure that you have all body parts listed in the instruction manual. You should have a lower torso, upper torso, two small wrist ball joints, two large ankle ball joints, upper and lower arms, thighs, shins, hands and feet.
Cut the elastic cord into two pieces. Make one piece 57 inches long; the second, 33.5 inches. Tie the loose end of each cord into a tight knot.
Place the knotted end of the longer elastic cord on your finger. Make two even loops of elastic by bringing the center of the hanging length up to the knot. At the site of your finger, now attach a large S-hook to the elastic.
Run the stringing tool upward through the upper torso and neck so that it can hook on the two loops of elastic cord. Separate the elastic loops.
Push the stringing tool through one of the leg holes and upward through the lower torso so that it can then hook onto the adjacent elastic loop at the top. Pull the stringing tool through the loop to attach the lower torso fully.
Place the leg parts on the stringing tool (as if it were like a skewer) in this order: ankle joint, washer, shin and thigh. Attach the stringing tool hook to the corresponding side of the lower torso elastic loop and pull it down to the ankle. While keeping the elastic in place, slowly release the stringing tool so that you are able to attach an S-hook.
Repeat the process to attach a second leg. Use a clip holder to clamp the elastic once you have pulled it through past the ankle. Attach an S-hook to the end of the elastic (just as you did for the first leg). While still holding onto the hook and elastic, slowly release the clip holder to allow the elastic to rest horizontally across the joint's notch.
Slip the arm parts onto the stringing tool in this order: wrist joint, washer, forearm, upper arm and small KIPS disk. Use the stringing tool hook to attach the smaller elastic cord to the arm by pulling it through the arm, past the wrist and attaching an S-hook. Run the cord through the upper torso and horizontally attach the second arm using the same process.
Attach the hands and feet by hooking the S-hooks to the connector screws. While holding a joint, turn the S-hook with the hand or foot 90 degrees before returning it to the ball joint.
Attach the last KIPS disk to the neck, and you are ready to attach the head. Now you can begin to paint your new doll.
