A Ginny doll will always have a mark on her back. Earlier dolls will be marked on the head and back. Ginny has a lot of different markings, because the doll has passed through numerous companies throughout the years.
Dolls to 1973: Vogue owned Ginny.
The markings on Ginny are varied, but there will always be a mark on the back or the back of the head. Here is a chart of some known manufacturer's marks for Vogue's popular Ginny dolls.
