How to Make Realistic Veins for Your Reborn Baby

Before I even start to add any skin tones to my Reborn baby I mix my Marine Blue heat set paint from Bountiful baby with my Phthalo Green heat set paint from Secrist. I will keep adding a paint thinner until the true color of a vein has appeared.

With a toothpick I carefully draw squiggly lines, while looking at my arm I will try and duplicate the pattern of veins. Once the paint is on I will dab it with a napkin until I reach the soft vein color.

Lastly I will place the doll limbs in a oven at 265 degrees for 8 minutes which sets the paint permanently. Once the limbs have completely cooled I will then start adding skin tone colors and blushing, this ends up giving it a look, as if the veins are way under the skin.
