The Sleeping Bag
Measure the doll to make a sleeping bag that fits her. Leave one inch or an inch and a half at either end of the sleeping bag so the doll will fit inside easily. For a 6-inch doll, make an 8-or-9 inch sleeping bag.
Measure two pieces of fabric the same size to make the sleeping bag. You might make the outside denim with the inside a print. For a sleeping bag that is 4.5-by-8 inches, each piece of fabric will be 8-by-9 inches.
With right sides together, sew the sleeping bag on three and a half sides, leaving the last half open. Turn the sleeping bag inside out. Stuff the inside with quilt batting. Sew up with last half side.
Take the stuffed sewn sleeping bag and fold it in half. Sew the bottoms together and halfway up the side so the denim is on the outside where it belongs.
Fold back the rest of the sewn side (it should form a triangle) so the inside is exposed. The sleeping bag is now ready to receive the doll.
The Tent
Measure so that your tent is long and high enough to fit the doll it's made for.
Cut your wire and bend it into two triangles. This will form either end of your doll's pup tent. Now add three longer wires between the points of each triangle. Connect them by twisting the wire ends together so there are no loose wires. This will form the frame of your tent.
Measure your nylon to fit around the wires. You'll need three pieces. The two triangles should be cut just slightly larger than the front that opens and the back. Cut the main piece (the tent sides and bottom) in one long piece of nylon. Set the main piece aside. This will be added last.
Cut a line up the middle of the front flap. This will give your doll access to the tent.
Stretch the main piece of fabric around the sides of the tent so the nylon overlaps the end fabric. Glue it to the top wire so the ends remain covered. Stitch the ends of the large piece together underneath the tent.
