Base
Create the base from two triangles. Fasten a green connector to both ends of each purple rod. Listen for the click when you push the pieces together.
Lay the purple rods out on your workspace so that they form two triangles. Make sure that the holes in the green connectors are on top of each other. Slide yellow rods through all connector holes. Secure the yellow rods with white stoppers.
Fasten a purple connector to each end of the red rods. Attach the yellow rods from your triangular side pieces to the free ends of the purple connectors. The triangle's top edge is your catapult's axle.
Swing Arm
Fasten the plastic teaspoon to the catapult's axle by wrapping a rubber band around it in a crisscross fashion. The spoon's bowl rests toward the catapult's rear and its handle toward the front.
Slide the other rubber band underneath the red rod in the catapult's rear. Loop one of the rubber band's ends through its other end. It will look like a single bunny ear.
Loop the rubber band's other end around the the end of the spoon's handle. To fire your catapult, place a die in the spoon's bowl. Pull the bowl toward the tabletop, aim and let fly.
