How to Calibrate the Leapfrog Explorer Globe

The Leapfrog Explorer Smart Globe helps children learn about geography while having fun. The globe includes several different games that challenge children's minds while providing interesting facts about the different geographical areas. The globe includes a world clock and a pen that works with the globe. Calibrate the globe when using it for the first time or after changing the batteries.

Instructions

  Turn the globe on using the power button.

  Use the dial in the center of the globe's base to select "Time." Touch the included "Magic Pen" anywhere on the globe. The globe speaks several instructions. Follow each instruction as the globe asks you to complete it.

  Touch the pen to your location when the globe prompts you to do so. When your location is accepted, use the compass in the North Atlantic Ocean to set the time. Press the red arrow to select the hour. Use the purple arrow to confirm the correct hour when the globe speaks it.

  Use the red and purple arrows to set the minute and day. Press the orange circle when you have set the day and time correctly.
