How Do You Turn off the Sound on a Rubik's Slide?

The Rubik's Slide is a nine-tile electronic puzzle based on the original Rubik's Cube. The tiles light up to create more than 10,000 patterns that players try to match. Sound effects play during each game, and a voice announces your current score in a game or your high scores. If you're playing in a public area or find the sound distracting, you simply need to access the "Volume Control" menu on the Rubik's Slide to turn the sound off.

Instructions

  Push the "Check" (the button with the check mark) and the "Start" (the button with the arrow) buttons on top of the device at the same time for about three seconds until you see the "Volume Control" menu pattern -- a red center grid tile with blue tiles bordering it.

  Twist the grid counterclockwise to decrease the volume until it's completely turned off.

  Press the "Check" and "Start" buttons for at least three seconds to exit the menu; or simply wait for about five seconds for your Rubik's Slide to exit the menu automatically.
