Glass Display Containers
Use glass jars or canisters to hold LEGO bricks. These allow everyone to see the colorful toys inside the containers. They are also inexpensive and fairly easy to find. Remind parents to transfer the toys to safer storage if they will be given to children after the raffle.
Build A LEGO Box
Using a LEGO building plate, standard bricks, LEGO hinges and LEGO closure, build a box to store the bricks. This way the display box can be taken apart and added to the raffle bounty. You could build various box shapes or even a basket of LEGOs.
Standard LEGO Boxes
Use a standard LEGO box that has a building plate on top. This is a classic container for LEGOs and allows children to play on the top of the box. LEGO also sells a variety of specialized LEGO boxes to store and organize collections so the winner will have a ready-made place to put them.
Vintage LEGO Containers
Find a vintage LEGO container, such as the classic, plastic red suitcase-style container, to store the bricks. This will give the LEGOs a retro feel and may make those involved in the raffle nostalgic for their childhood days of playing with LEGOs.
Themed LEGO Containers
Base the LEGO container on the theme of the raffle. For example, if the raffle will benefit a school, fill a backpack with LEGOs. You could also embroider or monograph the raffle name on a fabric or decorative bin to hold the LEGOs.
Orgnaized LEGO Containers
Use organizing containers with built-in compartments to arrange bricks by shape, size, color and type. This will let raffle participants see what they are getting and provide the winner with a case in which to keep the new LEGOs. Clear cases might work best for ease of viewing.
