Instructions on How to Calibrate Your Leapster

The Leapster handheld gaming console enables preschoolers and young school-age children to learn while they play electronic games. With the ease of portable play, youngsters can take the Leapster learning system with them on the go or play with the Leapster games at home. If the stylus pen begins to respond erratically on the touch screen, calibrate the Leapster to restore it to proper working function once again.

Leapster cartridge

  Turn on the Leapster handheld unit.

  Place any Leapster game cartridge into the Leapster.

  Watch the screen to note when the sign-in screen appears.

  Press the "Home," "Hint" and "B" buttons all at the same time.

  Watch for the screen to change. After the screen view changes to show several shapes, press the "A" button.

  Hold the stylus and press the point of the stylus into the center of each shape you see on the screen. After you successfully touch the center of each shape, you will be finished calibrating the Leapster.
