Instructions for the LeapFrog Crammer

Locate the battery compartment on the back of the CRAMMER. Insert a screwdriver into the the compartment's slot. Pull the tool sideways to open the compartment. Install three AAA batteries into each provided slot. Replace the battery door securely.

Flip the power button up into the "On" position. The power button is located on the right side of the CRAMMER. Insert headphones into the headphone jack, which is found at the bottom of the device.

Navigate the home menu by using the arrow buttons. The arrow buttons are located on all four edges of the screen. To move horizontally, press the left and right edges of the screen. To move vertically, press the top and bottom edges of the screen. Press the "Enter" button in the top right corner of the handheld to select a highlighted menu option.

Select the "Flash Cards" icon from the home screen to open an educational activity that involves electronic flash cards. Use the left or right arrows to scroll through flash cards. Press "Enter" to flip a flash card to its other side and press the down arrow to exit the application.

To play two games that reinforce a child's counting and arithmetic ability, select the "Games" icon from the home menu. The games are Wheeler Dealer and Domino Madness.

Choose the "Quizzes" icon from the home screen to open the quiz-based educational activity. Press the up or down arrows to scroll through questions and answers. Press the "Enter" button to select an answer from a list of options. Exit out of the application by clicking the down arrow on the handheld.
