How to Modify EyeClops

The EyeClops toy from Jakks Pacific is intended for children's entertainment. The BugVac accessory is made for modifying the EyeClops viewer by adding the insect viewing chamber to inspect live bugs. Minor modifications in the way this toy is used are possible without harming the electronics. The EyeClops Bionic Eye is sometimes mounted near a doorway, and the connecting television used as a close circuit monitor for incoming and outgoing traffic. Any modifications that do not alter the mechanism are acceptable.

  Open the trap valve on the EyeClops toy BugVac accessory by turning the blue colored dial in the counterclockwise direction. Put the nozzle end of the vacuum in front of a live insect and push the power button to catch the bug in the view chamber.

  Turn the dial clockwise to close the valve and contain the insect. Twist the entire view chamber counterclockwise to remove it from the end of the EyeClops BugVac.

  Put the wide end of the insect view chamber against the EyeClops bionic eye. Twist the threads onto the EyeClops toy with clockwise turns. Use the modified EyeClops toy with its television attachment for viewing the live insect trapped in the attached view chamber on a television screen.
