Design your coaster. Figure out exactly how high you wish the roller coaster to start out. Also, take into account any loops or either formations you wish to employ, such as corkscrews. If you use a model roller coaster kit, you will have a plethora of options at your disposal for cool tricks you can design.
Build the base. You can use a hammer and nails to secure the base of the coaster to the wooden board. If you use the instructions included with your kit, be sure to follow specifications when designing the specific coaster you have purchased.
Lay the track. Connect the track in the manner specified by your instructions. Be sure to include any loops or other trick items as described in your manual. Place the roller coaster cart on the track to finalize the process.
