Directions for Fisher-Price InteracTV

The Fisher-Price InteracTV is an interactive learning system designed specifically for children. Using a DVD and controller, children learn from a variety of categories, including numbers, colors, words and animals. Featuring characters from their favorite television shows, InteracTV includes over 300 different leaning questions. Prior to using the InteracTV for the first time, parents should set up the DVD and controller. Setup provides the functionality and connectivity needed to enjoy InteracTV.

      Refer to the back of the InteractTV controller. Using a screwdriver, remove the screw holding the battery case in place. Remove the case from the back of the controller. Insert three "AA" batteries into the space provided. Reinsert the battery case and its screw.

      Insert the InteractTV DVD into your DVD player's disc tray. Watch the brief message and tutorial until the menu screen is displayed.

      Insert the provided blue "Programming Card" into the controller. The green light located in the bottom right portion of the screen will blink twice upon successful connection. If the light does not blink twice, remove the card and retry.

      View the Manufacturer's Code Booklet that was provided with the InteracTV. Find the manufacturer name and model number for your DVD player. If neither are listed, refer to the section in the booklet entitled "All Models."

      Enter the four-digit code from the booklet using the programming card that's inside the InteracTV controller. Input one of the generic codes listed under "All Models" for DVD models not found in the booklet. Use the white forward arrow on the right arm of the controller to press the number "0." After entering four digits correctly, the controller will display one long green light.
