How to Solve 'Cast Radix - Hanayama Metal Puzzle'

The Hanayama metal puzzles are released by PuzzleMaster and challenge the individual to use his mind to figure out a solution that may not always seem so logical at first glance. The Radix, meaning "root" in Latin, has pieces adjoined at the base with two swirling interlocked rings at the top. Your job is to take the pieces apart and reassemble the puzzle the way that it was originally shaped.

Instructions

    • 1

Set the puzzle on a surface. From here on the right piece of metal will be referred to as "B," the left piece as "A" and the bottom as the base.

    • 2

Detach B from the base, and move the base upwards.

    • 3

Insert B through the base while rotating it at the same time.

    • 4

Lower both B and the base when you have rotated B enough to allow the movement.

    • 5

Place the pieces in the position where B is at the bottom and the base is at the top, with A adjoining the two.

    • 6

Rotate B, and twist it until it can detach from the base completely.

    • 7

Slide the base off to separate all three pieces of the puzzle.
