How to Download Smart Globe

The Smart Globe teaches more than the location of countries. Connect this device to your computer and you can download updated content for the globe's interactive surface. Once on the updated website, users can change the age level appropriateness of the content downloaded. Custom age levels give the entire family, from children to adults, the chance to enjoy the Smart Globe.

Smart Globe CD-ROM
Smart Pen
USB cable
Windows XP or Vista

Instructions

  Install the Smart Globe program to your computer. Insert the CD-ROM and follow the prompts on the pop-up window for installation. Alternatively, go to the Smart Globe updates website and download the installation software.

  Connect one end of the USB cable to the Smart Pen and the other end to your computer when prompted by the installation program.

  Follow the prompts on the Web page which automatically opens at the end of installation of the Smart Globe program. Type in your registration information and the access code from the reverse side of the Smart Globe CD-ROM case or on page 9 of your owner's manual.

  Choose "Update" from the window on your computer for the Smart Globe and follow the prompts to choose the age level and language for the update.

  Unplug the Smart Pen and the USB cable when the update completes.

  Connect the Smart Pen to your computer with the USB cable and follow the on-screen prompts from the pop-up windows for downloading future updates for the Smart Globe.
