    • 2

Position the memory switch on the back of the unit to 1, 2 or 3. Each number corresponds to a separate DVD player you can program the unit to operate with. Program each number and DVD player separately, according to the instructions.

    • 3

      Turn off the DVD player.

    • 4

Set the Fisher-Price InteracTV unit to the desired switch number.

    • 5

Insert the setup card into the controller and wait for the controller to blink twice--this means the card has been inserted properly.

    • 6

Place the InteracTV on a flat surface, facing the DVD remote controller. Keep both units three inches apart and do not allow anything to block the front of either unit.

    • 7

Listen to the audio from the InteracTV controller and press the appropriate buttons when you are instructed. Press each button and hold it in until the light on the controller is no longer visible.

Insert the code entry card into the controller and wait for the controller to blink twice--this means the card has been inserted properly

    • 11

Use the manual to find your DVD player's make and model and locate the corresponding code. Start with the first code listed for your particular DVD model.

    • 12

Enter the DVD code using the InteracTV controller's number buttons. After entering the last digit of the code, you will see a long blink indicating the code has been properly entered.

Follow Steps 1 through 5 above.

    • 15

Point the InteracTV controller at the DVD player and press the "backward arrow" key.

    • 16

Continue to press the "backward arrow" key until your DVD player turns on. This indicates the Fisher-Price InteracTV controller found the proper operating code. Be patient--this can take a few minutes

    • 17

Proceed to the Testing phase to insure the controller is functioning properly.

    Testing Phase

    • 18

Turn the DVD player on. Insert the setup disc and select "Test Your Controller" from the menu.

    • 19

Insert the test card into the controller and follow the instructions on the DVD screen to check for the proper controller setup. When all nine letter buttons and both arrows keys light up on the DVD screen, the controller has been properly programmed and is ready for use.
