How to Create a Rubik's Cube

Making your own Rubik's cube can be exciting and rewarding, especially if you can already solve a Rubik's cube. Creating your own allows you to create more challenging cubes or make a personalized cube by applying whatever images you would like to the sides. Learn to assemble your own cube, and you'll be able to create new challenges for yourself and exciting gifts for your friends.

Things You'll Need

Rubik's pieces
Silicon lubricant
Rubik's stickers

Instructions

  Set out all of the Rubik's pieces. Separate them into corner and edge pieces.

  Slide each edge piece between a center piece. Insert the corner pieces. They should pop in fairly easily.

  Before sliding in the last corner, spray the interior of the now almost complete cube with silicon lubricant spray. Insert the final corner.

  Apply the stickers to the outside. Double-check the configuration of the sides to make sure they are the way you want them.
