How to Charge a LeapFrog Fly Fusion

The Fly Fusion Pentop Computer is a handheld electronic device made by LeapFrog Enterprises, Inc. Shaped like a thick pen, the Fly Fusion has a small camera built in to the tip that can read writing on special LeapFrog FLY paper. Using Fly Fusion accessories or online computer programs at LeapFrog's special website, www.flyworld.com, you can play games, compose music, write notes, study, prepare for standardized tests and listen to MP3s with it. The Fly Fusion is charged using a computer's USB power port.

Instructions

  Make sure the room in which you are going to charge the LeapFrog Fly Fusion is between 32 and 95 degrees F. The Fly Fusion might not charge in a location that is too cold or too hot.

  Turn your computer on. Click any key on the keyboard to ensure it's not in sleep or power save mode.

  Locate an open USB port on your computer that provides power.

  Take the USB cable that came with your LeapFrog Fly Fusion and plug the small end into the top of the Fly pen.

  Plug the other end of the USB cable into the open USB port on your computer.

  The LED light on the front of the Fly Fusion pen will turn green when it is fully charged. The LED light will be yellow while it is charging. If you are charging your Fly Fusion for the first time, it will take four hours to fully charge.
