Instructions
Place the hub on a flat surface. Arrange the planet wires from shortest to longest.
Hook the smallest wire into the hanging loop on the planet Mercury.
Connect the other end of Mercury's wire to the lower rotation ring by inserting the tip of the wire into the slot on the rotation ring, with the tip of the wire pointing down. Press down to lock the wire into place.
Connect the remaining planets--with the wires going from shortest to longest--in this order: Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto.
Choose a hanging location on the ceiling that has at least 24 inches of clearance on all sides.
Hold the mounting plate against the ceiling with "This Side Down" facing toward the floor. Mark the two outer holes with a pencil. Remove the mounting plate from the ceiling.
Drill two 5/16-inch holes where the markings were made. Make sure the holes go all the way through the drywall.
Insert the two mounting bolts through the bottom of the mounting plate. Screw the butterfly anchors onto the ends of the bolts.
Insert the screws through the holes in the ceiling with the butterfly anchors in a folded position.
Screw the mounting bolts clockwise until the mounting plate is snug against the ceiling.
Guide the tabs on the top of the hub into the slots on the mounting plate.
Rotate the hub clockwise 30 degrees until it clicks into place on the mounting plate.
