How to Load Books Into a Leap Frog Tag

The LeapFrog Tag Reader offers a variety of books for your child. If you have purchased new books for your child̵7;s reader and you need to add the audio for the books to the pen, you can download the audio quickly and easily via the LeapFrog Connect application. With LeapFrog Connect downloaded and installed on your computer, you can add your LeapFrog devices to manage them all in one place.

Things You'll Need

LeapFrog Tag reader
USB cable
Leapfrog Connect software
Internet connection

Instructions

  Connect the USB cable to your Tag reader and plug the other end in to your computer. Launch the LeapFrog Connect software to give you access to the data on your Tag reader.

  Select the Tag reader from the list of available LeapFrog devices in the LeapFrog Connect software. When you click the name in the Tag box, it will open the Tag reader homepage.

  Click ̶0;Audio Downloads̶1; from the Tag home page. Click the proper tab for your country to be sure you receive the proper audio content.

  Review the list of available books within the Audio Downloads panel. Select the book you wish to download and click ̶0;Download Audio.̶1; Click ̶0;OK̶1; when you receive the message to save the audio to your Tag reader.

  Click on "My Tag̶1; to access the audio library you have downloaded. Click the ̶0;Add̶1; button beside the book you wish to add to the reader.

  After the audio has transferred to the Tag reader, close the LeapFrog Connect software and disconnect the USB cable from the Tag reader and your computer.
