How to Hook Up a Battery Charger for a Peg Perego Power Loader

The Peg Perego Power Loader is designed for children from 3 to 7 years old, up to 85 pounds. The 12-volt rechargeable battery in the Power Loader helps you keep the truck running without spending money on batteries regularly. Charge the battery for at least 18 hours before the first use to condition it and prevent it from draining. Connect the battery charger properly to avoid shorting out the battery or causing a fire.

Instructions

  Remove the screw from the side panel of the Power Loader. Remove the side panel to expose the battery.

  Pull the wiring harness connection off the battery connection. Pull the battery out of the battery tray.

  Set the battery near a power outlet on a hard surface. Avoid carpeting, fabric or other materials under the battery due to the risk of static.

  Plug the power adapter on the charger into the wall outlet. Plug the opposite end of the charger into the connector on the battery cable.
