Mini Shopping Cart Assembly Instructions

Mini shopping carts are a great toy for toddlers who are just beginning to learn how to walk. They can provide the support of a walker, while allowing the child to emulate their parents. These shopping cart toys often come with interactive buttons, mirrors, sound-effect cues and other engaging extras that keep your child's brain active and her body moving. While toddler toys such as these seem rather simple, most require some amount of assembly before they can be used. Putting together your mini shopping cart toy should take around 20 minutes.

    • 1

Place the shopping basket portion of the toy face down on a table.

Affix the four leg sections to the base using the interlocking edges of the legs. The legs are numbered to match with each section of the center base.

    • 3

Insert the included screws into the seven marked holes on the bottom of the basket, and screw them securely in place.

    • 4

Insert the small basket into the notched section of the body of the toy. Screw this basket into place using the four small screws included in the box.

    • 6

Lay the larger basket over the small basket, and fit it into place in the base of the toy. When it is securely in place, use the four larger screws to screw this basket into the base. Use the screw covers included in the box to cover the metal ends of the screws.

    • 7

Click the plastic separator into place in the area between the two baskets. The rear portion of the separator should snap firmly into place, and should not budge when inserted properly.

    • 8

Use your screwdriver to screw in one end of each wheel axle, then thread one wheel to the end of each axle.

    • 9

Push the axles through the holes in the bottom of the toy base, then affix the second wheel to each axle. Once all four wheels have been attached to the axles, screw in the other end of the axle so that the wheels are secured against the side of the toy. Place one of the included decals onto the back face of the shopping cart to complete your assembly.
