How to Remove LeapFrog Learning Table Legs

The LeapFrog Learning Table is among one of the most popular baby and toddler toys on the market. One of the special features of this product is the ability to remove the legs for your child to play with it on the floor. Unfortunately, some models manufactured did not come with the release mechanisms needed to detach the legs from the base and you need a little ingenuity to remove them.

Things You'll Need

  • Thin flat-head screwdriver or butter knife

Instructions

    • 1

Reach underneath the table base and ensure that the power switch is set to the "OFF" position. Turn the LeapFrog Learning Table upside-down, so the legs are sticking straight up.

    • 2

Check to see if your particular product has the detachment buttons located between the base of the table and where the legs join. Depress one of the leg release buttons and lift the leg straight up to remove it. Repeat with the remaining three legs.

Fit the flat side of a screwdriver or butter knife in between the locking tab slits, where the leg joins with the table base. Push in on the small plastic switch with the butter knife or screwdriver to unseat it from the locking tab. While the plastic switch is backed away from the locking tab, pull up on the leg to remove it from the table base.
