Instructions
Locate and remove the DJT module from the FlySky FS-TH9X transmitter according to the instructions. Use a screwdriver to open the DJT module. Locate the Rxd pin on the circuit board's left side and the T2Out pin on the MAX232 device located on the lower right side of the circuit board. The names are printed on the circuit board. Measure the distance between these two pins. Cut two pieces of wire with this length.
Solder the end of one the first wire to the Txd pin, which is located just below the Rxd pin. Solder the first wire's other end to the R2In pin on the MAX232 device, which is located just below the T2Out pin.
Use scissors to cut the second wire in half. Solder a half-length wire to each side of the resistor. The result is one half-wire leading into the resistor and a half-wire leading out. Solder one half-wire's end to the Rxd pin. Solder the other half-wire's end to the T2Out pin.
Locate and remove the resistors R1 and R2 from the circuit board. Locate terminals 41 and 42 on the ATMega chip. Insert a glue cartridge into the glue gun's receiving chamber. Push the glue stick until it is firm. Activate the hot glue gun and fix the two 220-ohm resistors to an empty part of the circuit board. Solder one wire between a 220-ohm resistor and pin 41. Solder another wire between the second 220-ohm resistor and pin 42. Solder a third wire between the first 220-ohm resistor and the R1 pin slot. Solder a fourth wire between the second 220-ohm resistor and the R2 pin slot.
Reassemble the device. The mounted screen will now present telemetry information.
