Things You'll Need
Instructions
Cut your material, such as "L"shaped pieces of cardboard or thin pliable wood, into 6 pieces for the base so that your half pipe is supported at the ends and across the middle on both sides. Use scissors or a saw, depending on the material you choose.
Cut a rectangle out of cardboard or flexible wood, using a saw for wood and scissors for cardboard. Fingerboard.net recommends using a material that is about 1/8-inch thick for the ramp. A rectangle that is 9 inches wide and 12 inches long will result in a half pipe ramp that is about 1/8 the size of a standard one found at a skateboard park.
Curve your half pipe material to form the ramp. Curve a little at a time so that you don't end up with a half pipe that is too curved. When you have reached the desired amount of curve, test out the half pipe with a fingerboard to be sure it is how you want it.
Stand your base pieces up. Arrange three on each side to support both ends of your half pipe ramp. Keep them an equal distance apart so that your ramp is level and doesn't tip over when you play with it.
Adhere the half pipe ramp to the base pieces with wood glue if you are using wood. For cardboard models, duct tape or super glue may work better. Hold in place, if needed, until the glue sticks on its own. Allow to dry completely before playing with it or your ramp may fall apart.
Decorate your Tech Deck half pipe ramp using paint or stickers to customize your ramp and make it your own. Many skate shops sell stickers that appear on skateboards and skate parks.
