About the Beyblade Game

̶0;Beyblade̶1; is an animated children̵7;s program centered around tournaments that involve the use of specialized and customizable tops and launchers. In the animated series, these tops contain the spirits of ancient creatures and are considered powerful weapons. A full assortment of tops, spinners and arenas are available for you to purchase to battle against your friends or in a locally organized tournament. Because each Beyblade top is customizable, there are hundreds of possible combinations that you can utilize to create game-winning Beyblades.
  1. Parts of the Top

    • Each part is composed four parts. The Face bolt is a threaded hexagonal bolt that provides weight and stability to the top while spinning. The wheel is the main component of the top. Wheels often feature protruding blades that can be used for offensive attacks. The spin track connects the wheel to the tip of the top and also adds additional height to the top. The performance tip is the lowest part of the top and determines how and how long a top will spin.

    Basic Rules

    • Each player will need a completed Beyblade top and launcher. Additionally, at least one player must have a Beyblade stadium to launch the tops into. Both players announce ̶0;3, 2, 1 Let it rip̶1; and launch the tops into the arena. While you may elect to launch your top after your opponent, launching your top prior to stating ̶0;Let it rip̶1; will result in the forfeit of the duel. The winner of a duel is the player whose top is left standing.

    Winning the Game

    • The goal of the game is to be the first player to reach a total of seven points. The winner of each duel is awarded one point. If you touch either top during the duel, one point will be deducted from your score. If your top fails to land in the stadium, the duel will be forfeited and one point will be awarded to your opponent. Touching the Beyblade stadium during a duel will result in a forfeit of the duel and will award three points to your opponent. Each Beyblade stadium has three penalty spots built into it. Your opponent will be awarded two points if your top falls into a penalty spot. Penalty points may be awarded only once per battle.

    Special Moves

    • Three special moves are allowed during play. The ̶0;Dragon Storm̶1; technique refers to a reverse launch of the top. If your top was constructed to be launched with your right hand, performing a ̶0;Dragon Storm̶1; would have you launch it with your left hand to create an unpredictable spin pattern. The ̶0;Draciel̶1; technique allows you to delay launching your top for a maximum of five seconds after your opponent has launched his top. The ̶0;Dranzer̶1; technique replaces the rip-cord and manual launcher for your Beyblade with a battery-powered launcher.
