Things You'll Need
Instructions
Remove the small plastic cap located on the bottom of the hand pump.
Connect the pump needle to the end of the hand pump. Moisten the pump needle with a liberal amount of water.
Insert the pump needle into the small inflation hole located on the top portion of the speed bag. Hold the hand pump steady and inflate the speed bag; do not over-inflate it, as permanent damage to the air bladder will occur. Quickly remove the hand pump and needle from the speed bag after reaching the proper amount of air pressure.
Thread the smaller stand pole to the bottom of the speed bag. Finish tightening the speed bag to the small stand pole using an adjustable pair of pliers.
Remove the small fill cap from the bottom base. Insert the funnel into the hole and fill the base with water or sand. Replace the fill cap and check for leaks.
Install the large solid washer to the end of the spring-loaded side of the larger stand pole. Install one of the tapered base caps on the spring-loaded side of the pole, behind the washer, making sure the smaller end of the base cap is pointed toward the opposite side of the spring.
Insert the spring-loaded side of the stand into the base center hole. With the base and stand lying on their side, slide the remaining base cap onto the base pole, through the bottom of the base.
Slide the remaining washer over the bottom base cap and thread the screw into the bottom of the base pole. Finish tightening the screw with a large flat-head screwdriver.
Connect the adjustment collar to the top portion of the base stand.
Insert the smaller speed bag pole into the larger base pole. Adjust the height of the speed bag pole and tighten the adjustment collar to complete the assembly process.
